STAND LIKE A ROCK

by Bill Kochman

07-27-2018

You’ve got to stand like a rock,
When adverse winds blow so hard,
Swim against the rough current,
Keep on stroking one more yard.

Though people will put you down,
It should be of no real concern,
For should they keep resisting,
Someday they will surely burn.

So just ignore their mean taunts,
Stay focused on the task at hand,
Be faithful to preach God’s Word,
Till you’re in His Wondrous Land.
