THE EVIL WITHIN

by Bill Kochman

01-11-2017

If we did not have our heart,
We would indeed have no life,
But the evil that grows there,
Can cause just so much strife.

It is just like a small garden,
Where different seeds are sown,
Some thoughts can be so nice,
While others will make us moan.

The Lord so clearly warned us,
Of the evil that lurks therein,
Wicked things are born there,
Which can easily lead us to sin.
