THE HOSPITAL

by Bill Kochman

04-18-2018

Well I landed in the hospital,
It was not a very nice affair,
Poked, scanned and prodded,
I wanted to pull out my hair.

My body was so messed up,
With different kinds of stuff,
Living in this human flesh,
At times can be so tough.

It makes us long for Heaven,
Absent suffering and pain,
But we are here for a reason,
So others Eternal Life can gain.

So keep on fighting the battle,
Don’t ever give up the race,
Although flesh may tire often,
God will give you the Grace.

Once your mission is over,
You will finally take your rest,
And you shall be rewarded,
If you’ve done your very best.
