THE LORD IS NEAR

Please don’t get so discouraged,
When you feel alone and afraid,
For the Lord is very near to you,
He is there to give you His aid.
It is only that old lying serpent,
Who says you’re without any help,
But just quote God’s Word to him,
And off he will go with a big yelp.
God promises to never leave you,
It is stated so clearly in His Book,
So tho Satan convinces otherwise,
Don’t let him get you on his hook.
