VIOLENT NATION

Oh there is so much violence,
When will the anger ever stop?
Some crazy kills our children,
And a thug then kills some cop.
We are a nation full of hatred,
Our fruit is such a rotten crop,
The people have so little love,
From the bottom to the top.
Oh how the Lord must weep,
Each time some gun goes pop,
It’s time we do something real,
Don’t let one more body drop.
