WHEN DOUBTS ASSAIL

by Bill Kochman

09-01-2014

Oft times we all have doubts,
About the depth of our belief,
We may question our sincerity,
And Satan offers us little relief.

That fiend pounds so hard on us,
And fills our hearts with grief,
But stand we must against him,
Lest we fade just like a leaf.

The Lord sees into our hearts,
He knows just where we stand,
If we find ourselves slipping,
He extends us a helping hand.
