YOU ARE NOT DONE HERE YET

by Bill Kochman

Sometimes we want to go Home,
When our life becomes so hard,
Oft times we have no strength,
Just can’t run another yard.

We feel we have done so much,
What more is there left to do,
We faithfully preached the Word,
So surely we are now through.

“Oh God, I have had enough,
I’ll leave here with no regret,”
Then He answers “Sorry my child,
But you are not done here yet.”

God knows our total of years,
In His books our number is set,
There is no calling it quits,
Until our years have been met.

So when things become so hard,
We must rely upon His Grace,
He will help us to carry on,
And we will finish the race.
