The love of God.
"I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee."--- Isaiah 44:22 "And the Lord passed by before him, and proclaimed, The Lord, The Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,"--- Exodus 34:6 I love theses verses because they reveal the character of the God. Instead of exacting all that our sins deserve, He is merciful and gracious and full of lovingkindness. It reminds me, that no matter how far astray from the Lord we may go, He always responds with, yet return unto me. May we always be reminded that our sins have been blotted out and our raiment made white in the blood of the Lamb, for all who believe on His name. |
