BBB Chatbot is an AI-driven, online Bible study assistant. It draws information from my 54+ years of writing and teaching about the Bible. As of August 28, 2025, the bot's knowledge base is comprised of the following BBB materials:
• 339 Bill's Bible Basics articles and series
• 731 Topical KJV Bible Verse Lists
• 1,006 original poems
If you ask the bot about any of the above, it will provide you with an intelligent, relevant answer. However, to receive the best replies, you need to ask focused questions in WHOLE sentences. Don't just post a short two-word phrase such as "great tribulation" and expect the bot to know what it is that you want to know. That is too broad and can be interpreted in too many ways. Be precise and complete in your sentences. For example, "What does Bill Kochman think about the Great Tribulation?" By mentioning my name, it will know to draw from the BBB knowledge base files, and not from its general knowledge, which may not reflect my personal views.
If the bot says that there is nothing in its context regarding the topic you are discussing, it is referring to the data it is currently being shown from the knowledge base files. Rephrasing your question or comment may produce better results.
If you click or tap on any of the little blue circled numbers you see in the bot's responses, it will result in a split screen, and you will see the actual source from which the bot is drawing its response. If you are on a cell phone, it is best to turn it sideways to landscape mode in order to better enjoy this feature.
BBB Chatbot is free to use by anyone who uses the BBB website. You don't need an account of any kind. Neither is there a monthly subscription fee.
However, please bear in mind that I do pay a monthly subscription rate for x number of queries. A query is anything that you type in the text field, and then hit your return key. Under my current plan -- we only get 1,500 queries per month between all chatbot users, which is not a lot. However, it is all that our current budget allows. If someone would like to sponsor BBB Chatbot, for $120 per month, we will be allotted 7,500 queries per month, and other perks.
To help stretch the current monthly query quota of 1,500 queries as far as possible, please be very judicious and focused regarding the things which you ask the bot. In other words, don't waste the queries on foolish, silly things. Use the bot as the serious Bible study tool that it is meant to be. Thanks!
If you see an on-screen message which says "service unavailable", that means that we have used up our 1,500 queries for the month. Sorry!
Please understand that the bot does NOT have persistent memory. In other words, it will remember the current, complete conversation during a single session. However, it will forget the entire conversation if you do any of the following:
❌ Refresh the web browser page.
❌ Start a new chat.
❌ Close the web browser tab.
