Continuing our discussion from part three, with the last few paragraphs, I believe that I have now shared with you most of my latest thoughts regarding all of these rather important issues, and brought you up to speed with regard to some of the major developments which are now occurring in the world of AI technology, for those of you who may not have been too aware of them. To reiterate one of my key points, despite the fact that Elon Musk has changed course in his thinking, it is my view that his original thoughts were right on the mark. In other words, to let Artificial Intelligence -- AI -- to reach the stage of Artificial General Intelligence -- AGI -- and then to advance even further to Superintelligence where it will be able to analyze and decide on its own, and to execute decisions and actions on its own, is simply a really bad and dangerous idea.
As I have already made sufficiently clear, in my view, there is too much potential for something going so seriously wrong, that we may not be able to reverse it, turn back from it, or ever recover from it. The situation could get out of control. As Elon Musk wisely noted, in our folly and pride, we could very well be foolishly summoning a technological demon which could then devour us. We may not be able to put it back into the proverbial lamp. Even if AI researchers are well-meaning, ethical individuals whose only objective is truly to improve the human condition, as I said, there are some governments and individuals who will no doubt have other less honorable objectives in mind.
Now I'm obviously not a Luddite -- opposed to new technology -- as the Bill's Bible Basics online ministry demonstrates. In fact, I use modern technology every single day of my life, and for many hours at a time, for the Lord's glory. However, some level of common sense is clearly in order here. I hope you agree. Having said that, perhaps it is better and wiser for us to leave super-intelligent computers and robots which are self-aware, capable of analyzing data, making their own decisions, and executing actions and intervening directly in human affairs, to the realm of science fiction where they belong. We do NOT need 2001: A Space Odyssey's out-of-control HAL 9000. Neither do we need Terminator's T-800s and T-850s. We especially don't need the T-1000 series. Please feel free to fill in the blank with any other evil robots you recall. Such nasty creations are fun to watch on television or at the movie theater, but do we really want and need them in our real lives? I think not!

Me oh my, but what man will do to enhance his own limited abilities!

* Below is a list of small, downloadable flash movies of some of the real, talking, moving, human-looking robots that are shown in the above images, and more. Please be aware of the fact that I downloaded all of these movies over FOURTEEN YEARS ago. As such, they are obviously not as impressive as the robots which are currently being developed, and in some cases, already on the market for those people who can afford them. Please feel free to google for the latest videos.
* These files range in size from under 1 MB to almost 15 MB, which is really quite small. Thus, given the speed of today's Internet connections, they should download to your computer or other device rather quickly.
* When prompted by your web browser, simply save the flash movies to disk in order to view them with your flash movie player, such as VLC. If you encounter a problem trying to download these with Google Chrome, simple right-click any link and select the "Save Link As" option. Hopefully, this will download the file to your computer.
* The current state of human-looking, talking robots is very amazing, but I suspect that robotics technology may possibly be even more advanced than what we see in the videos below. After all, no government ever puts all of its cards on the table. We would probably be shocked to learn exactly what they can actually do now.
