True Jews In Spirit, Circumcision Of The Heart, Reborn And Transformed By The Spirit Of Christ, Blasphemy Against The Holy Ghost, God's Love And Grace Manifested Through Christ, God Does Not Lie, Mockers And Blasphemers, Fiery Fate Of The Unbelievers, Bridle Your Evil Tongue, Incline Your Ear And Live, Listen To The Lord's Voice, Without Guile, Our Pure Reward, Closing Remarks, Suggested Reading Resources List

Continuing our discussion from part one, it is for all of the aforementioned reasons that the Apostle Paul wrote over and over again that the true Jew is not one who is a proud menpleaser, who self-righteously and legalistically follows the letter of the Mosaic Law. Rather, he is a person who is spiritually circumcised of the heart, so that he can accept the Spirit of Truth, and thus allow the Spirit and doctrine of Christ to dwell within him. This is quite evident by verses such as the following:

"For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God."
Romans 2:28-29, KJV

"But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you."
Romans 6:17, KJV

"For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
Romans 10:10, KJV

"Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;"
Ephesians 6:6, KJV

In fact, as I point out in a number of other articles, it is imperative that we are not only spiritually reborn, but also mentally transformed so that we put on the mind of Christ, and obtain a regenerated new heart through the workings of the Holy Spirit. You may recall that after King David sinned against the Lord by engaging in both murder and adultery, he prayed to the Lord in the following manner:

"Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me."
Psalm 51:10, KJV

In a similar fashion, this is what happens to us when we accept Christ as our Lord and Savior, and are born again in the Spirit. We are cleansed of our sins by the Spirit and Blood of Jesus Christ, and His Word begins to transform us into entirely new creatures. We are in essence spiritually circumcised. Consider this group of verses:

"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."
2 Corinthians 5:17, KJV

"And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness."
Ephesians 4:24, KJV

"And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:"
Colossians 3:10, KJV

"And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."
Romans 12:2, KJV

Returning to our previous topic, as we have now seen, the exact opposite of speaking the Lord's pure language of Truth, is speaking an impure or unclean language which is full of demonic lies, doubts and deception. Of course, all of this wickedness is inspired by none other than the Devil himself, who is the Father of Lies, and who influences our unregenerate minds and hearts on a daily basis. He tempts us to think evil, and to do evil, but we do have a choice in the matter.

But let me ask you something. Insofar as our Christian faith is concerned, exactly what is the major lie that is promoted by these rebellious Jews and other nonbelievers like them? It is that God is a liar when He says that He sent His only begotten Son -- Jesus Christ -- to die for the sins of the world. As I explain in articles such as "Beholding the Evil and the Good", I believe that this is what Jesus meant by the unforgivable sin of blasphemy against the Holy Ghost in the following verses which are found in Matthew's Gospel:

"Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come."
Matthew 12:31-32, KJV

This appears to be the very same thing that the Apostle Paul is referring to in his Epistle to the Hebrews. Paul states that those people who initially accept Christ's Atonement, and then later reject it, or who call it "an unholy thing" through unbelief, can expect the severest chastisement of all. Consider what he wrote:

"Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?"
Hebrews 10:29, KJV

As all Bible-believing Christians understand, it is through the Blood Sacrifice of Jesus Christ, that God the Father has fully manifested His Love, and His Grace, to an unbelieving world. This is easily explained by Scriptures such as the following, with which many of you will already be familiar:

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
John 3:16, KJV

"In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him."
1 John 4:9, KJV

In the previous verse from his Epistle to the Hebrews, Paul refers to this covering Grace of Jesus Christ as "the Spirit of grace". Notice the phrase "done despite". It is derived from the Greek word "enubrizo". Pronounced en-oo-brid'-zo, it means to insult. In other words, when Paul talks about doing "despite" to the Spirit of Grace, Paul is referring to those people who insult God, and who basically call Him a liar by their rejection of the Saving Grace which He offers to them through the Sacrifice of His beloved Son.

If, as I do, you accept that the Holy Ghost, or the Spirit of Truth, is an extension of God Himself which bears witness to our spirits of the Sacrifice of Jesus Christ, then it is easy to see how blaspheming the Holy Ghost is the same thing as blaspheming God the Father Himself. That, my friends, is the unpardonable sin! As we have already seen, God is most certainly not a liar. He only speaks the pure language of Truth. Consider the following verses which firmly support this point:

"God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?"
Numbers 23:19, KJV

"God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged."
Romans 3:4, KJV

"In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;"
Titus 1:2, KJV

"Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son."
1 John 2:22, KJV

"He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son."
1 John 5:10, KJV

"If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us."
1 John 1:10, KJV

While it would truly be wonderful if everyone would turn to the Lord, sadly, the Bible tells us that some people are simply not going to learn their lesson. They will remain totally incorrigible right up to the very end of their sad and miserable lives. They will continue to stubbornly reject the Truth, and continue to speak the Devil's impure language of lies, deception and doubt. They'll blaspheme against God, mock His holy Word, and reject Christ. These people, such as many modern Jews and atheists, are headed for very serious trouble! Whether we are talking about nonbelievers of two thousand years ago, or the nonbelievers of our current time, the Bible has nothing good to say about them. Consider the following group of verses:

"And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time."
Daniel 7:25, KJV

"And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done."
Daniel 11:36, KJV

"And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven."
Revelation 13:5-6, KJV

"Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation."
2 Peter 3:3-4, KJV

"This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away."
2 Timothy 3:1-5, KJV

Unless they repent of their wickedness while there is still time; unless they stop using their tongues to set the world afire with their lies and blasphemy against God; someday these evildoers are going to face the fire themselves when they fall into the hands of a wrathful God who will requite Himself of all of their evil deeds. Once again, consider the following set of verses:

"He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him."
John 3:36, KJV

"For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God . . . For our God is a consuming fire."
Hebrews 10:30-31, 12:29, KJV

"But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men . . . But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up."
2 Peter 3:7, 10, KJV

"But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death."
Revelation 21:8, KJV

"And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;"
2 Peter 2:6, KJV

Thus we see the final dreadful fate of those wicked people, who through their own pride and foolishness, reject God's Saving Grace through His beloved Son, Jesus Christ, and who continue to blaspheme the God of Heaven with their evil tongues. These people would be wise to take heed to verses such as the following:

"But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned."
Matthew 12:36-37, KJV

"If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain."
James 1:26, KJV

"Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth! And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell. For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind: But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison."
James 3:5-8, KJV

"For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:"
1 Peter 3:10, KJV

What about you? Are you listening to and speaking Satan's lies and doubts; or have you turned your ear towards the Lord so that you can hear His pure language of Truth and live, as the Prophet Isaiah was inspired to write in the following verse?:

"Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David."
Isaiah 55:3, KJV

If you are the Lord's child, then you will hear, recognize, understand and obey His pure language of Truth; for as Jesus said in the eighth and tenth chapters of the Gospel of John, as well as in the Book of Revelation:

"He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God."
John 8:47, KJV

"And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd . . . My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:"
John 10:16, 27, KJV

"Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me."
Revelation 3:20, KJV

If you listen to and obey the Lord's pure language of Truth, then as with Nathanael in the Gospel of John, you too will be one of God's children in whom is found no guile:

"Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile!"
John 1:47, KJV

"And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God."
Revelation 14:5, KJV

If you have heard His Voice, if you have been washed by the pure water of His Word, if you have drunk of the sincere, or pure, unadulterated milk of His Word so that you are filled with His pure Wisdom, and if you have served Him out of a pure heart and a pure conscience, then someday you will also walk down the pure streets of His pure City, New Jerusalem. Consider all of the following verses for your encouragement:

"Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water."
Hebrews 10:22, KJV

"As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:"
1 Peter 2:2, KJV

"But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy."
James 3:17, KJV

"Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God."
Matthew 5:8, KJV

"Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart."
2 Timothy 2:22, KJV

"Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:"
1 Peter 1:22, KJV

"Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded."
James 4:8, KJV

"And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass . . . And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass"
Revelation 21:18, 21, KJV

"And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb."
Revelation 22:1, KJV
