BUNGLING BABES

You claim Jesus is coming soon,
And we’re now in the tribulation,
But what if your belief is wrong,
And it is a false interpretation?

Such a thought may turn you off,
But I ask you to first hear me out,
Just settle down for a moment,
Please don’t scream and shout.

That is right, now just be cool,
There is no need to blow a fuse,
Now give me a chance to explain,
Before you even start to accuse.

Many doctrines are taught today,
Without a Scriptural foundation,
I have heard them for many years,
Yes, to my personal consternation.

There are people teaching today,
Who are babes in Christ at best,
They put on a preaching mantle,
But never even passed God’s test.

Young in faith, they do not know,
What the Bible is really all about,
Yet they endeavor to teach others,
Misguiding many without a doubt.

To be a teacher is a serious thing,
Which should not be taken lightly,
It takes years to study the Word,
And we must each divide it rightly.
