PRODIGAL

You are wrapped up in the world,
You do not see that you are blind,
God offered you a special calling,
But you have left His Will behind.

Just like that guy named Demas,
You swallowed old Satan’s lure,
So many blessings were for you,
Yet now you are spiritually poor.

Just surviving on the dry husks,
Like a prodigal who lost his way,
Thinking where you went wrong,
Did you really take time to pray?

Yet Father remains so merciful,
He can restore if you so desire,
If you have learned your lesson,
Having now passed thru the fire.
