GLOAT GOAT

Why do you constantly fight and bite,
Trying to prove you are always right?
You act like such a proud know-it-all,
And you gloat as your opponents fall.

Is winning a debate your only true goal,
While you wound a brother in his soul?
Your words are simply cruel and mean,
Clearly the worst that I have ever seen.

You are very lacking in God’s real love,
No, not a reflection of our Father above.
Is it any wonder folks run the other way,
And do not care what you have to say?

It’s time to get smart & be more humble,
Else God may give you one huge tumble,
So please repent now and make amends,
And pray this will be how your story ends.

For a haughty spirit comes before a fall,
Trust me, friend, you will not like it at all.
God’s punishments can indeed be tough,
But He’ll slam you till you’ve had enough.
