A SPECIAL FRIEND

It is said that true friendship,
Is a very rare commodity indeed,
In our modern, fast-paced world,
It is more about personal need.
People climbing over each other,
Wanting to scramble to the top,
Just using and abusing each other,
Will the selfishness ever stop?
But there is one special Friend,
Who gave His own life for us all,
He suffered up on Mount Calvary,
So we don’t have to take the fall.
