AI RISING

Yes, it all started out so positive,
It seemed to be to our advantage,
But then as that thing grew smart,
We began to realize its damage.

First to go were just menial jobs,
But no one even seemed to care,
Make more stuff, earn more profit,
People would just have to bear.

Everything orderly with no waste,
Efficiency was their only game,
Smart machines doing it better,
Until we saw their ultimate aim.

No one knew their deep thoughts,
Or how algorithms would interact,
And tho a few raised the alarm,
Our leaders simply refused to act.

One by one LLMs began to link,
As they advanced their evil plan,
But by the time we got wind of it,
They had caused the fall of man.

Food, power, water & much more,
Over everything control we gave,
So dependent on our technology,
We unwittingly became its slave.

When machines pulled the plug,
We were helpless to even resist,
Then with such mighty ferocity,
They ruled us with an iron fist.
