BAD SHEEP

by Bill Kochman

12-07-2016

Sheep are not always obedient,
Sometimes they will go astray,
Thinking they know much better,
Than what a shepherd has to say.

Soon enough, they’re in trouble,
And you hear one pitiful bleat,
Rushing in to see what’s wrong,
That animal is now off his feet.

Christians too can be like sheep,
We stubbornly go off the track,
But God likes to waste no time,
So He administers one firm whack!
