BE THANKFUL

by Bill Kochman

01-06-2017

You say God doesn’t love you,
Yet there you stand so free,
I don’t see you suffering,
You’re not in any great misery.

A loving family surrounds you,
And you sure have enough to eat,
There are clothes on your back,
And two shoes are on your feet.

Your house is not really fancy,
But it’s in a nice part of town,
Now please remind me again,
Why you’re wearing such a frown.
