BIBLE SNOBS

Bible snobs are now everywhere,
Buoyed by their pride I do declare.
Saying “I am right & you are wrong,
So why don’t you just move along.
I hear from God, He spoke to me,
He even gives me real prophecy.
My connection to Him is so great,
I know the truth down to the date.
So don’t you dare come to my page,
Pretending to be some great sage.
Yes, now go ahead and take a walk,
Just keep it up, and you I’ll block.”
Now and then I will meet such folks,
They are not really humble blokes.
What they teach is on the fringe,
Man, they really make me cringe!
Dare disagree and they will rant,
Change their mind, no you just can’t.
So convinced that they know it all,
There’s no getting through their wall.
While servants of God they may be,
They totally lack in true humility.
So if you meet one on some fine day,
My advice is that you do not stay.
If so led for them you should pray,
Then turn around and just walk away.
