BIDEN’S BILLIONS

While so many Americans said,
We want a southern border wall,
Those liberal Democrats replied,
Sorry but there’s no money at all.
A price tag of five billion dollars,
Our nation more safe would be,
But Dems fought tooth and nail,
Now we’ve got a border tragedy.
Suddenly over yonder in Europe,
Russia makes a grab for Ukraine,
So Joe Biden sends them billions,
Money is falling thicker than rain.
There’s something clearly wrong,
If we can assist nations abroad,
But as for us Americans at home,
Those pols hardly give us a nod.
Though elected to serve America,
They cater to V. Zelensky instead,
Giving him whatever he may want,
Our defenses are deep in the red.
Meanwhile down at the border,
Questionable people do sneak in,
Illegals, drug mules & murderers,
Without that wall we’ll never win.
