CANNON FODDER

Whether you’re America’s son or a daughter,
Well, sorry, but you’re still just cannon fodder.
Of course, they’ll make you promises galore,
Anything to convince you to fight their war.

They will talk about patriotism, you will see,
Tell you you’re helping to spread democracy.
Now just go kill the enemy and all will be well,
But those countries have all turned into hell.

Yes, look at nations where the USA invaded,
There is no peace and now America is hated.
Go right ahead, count off nations one by one,
Not any of them is now democratically run.

They all still squabble and they all still fight,
So why did we send all our American might?
Billions of dollars spent & weapons sent too,
One of these days they may use ‘em on you.

So when that sly recruiter offers you a chair,
Don’t be so stupid, man just get out of there!
