CAN’T KEEP A CHRISTIAN DOWN

You just can’t keep a Christian down,
He will keep coming right on back,
No vicious words or subtle tricks,
Will ever knock him off his track.
The secret’s not found in him alone,
It’s not that he is such a great man,
His strength, you see, is not his own,
It’s that he holds the Master’s Hand.
Thus it is, that when he is weak,
The Lord thru him can be so strong,
Though troubles come on every side,
He just keeps right on boppin’ along.
