CAUGHT IN THE MIDDLE

by Bill Kochman

12-08-2016

You did not mean for it to happen,
But then for another girl you fell,
Wife found all of your love letters,
And her lawyer she’s going to tell.

But now caught right in the middle,
Are the children together you bore,
It will be a heartbreaking tragedy,
If your wife shows you to the door.

Such are the problems with adultery,
Innocent lives get hurt in the mix,
Better ask for love and forgiveness,
And hope this ugly mess you can fix.
