FAIRY TALES

by Bill Kochman

Humpty Dumpty sat on the wall,
Cinderella went to the ball.
One Jack was nimble, one fell down,
Wicked witch melted into the ground.

Sleeping Beauty pricked her finger,
Snow White with dwarves did linger.
As for Beauty, she loved the Beast,
Munchkins feared, Witch of the East.

Rip Van Winkle, long time did sleep,
Rapunzel’s hair, she did not keep.
But all these tales are so absurd,
Should we not teach kids the Word?
