HIGH CLASS LIVING

by Bill Kochman

09-23-2014

Eat, drink, for tomorrow we die,
Yes, you can surely live like that,
But know it’s just the Devil’s lie,
In the end it will leave you flat.

Sure, you can live high on the hog,
Fill your gut with high-class food,
The latest drugs your mind will fog,
And make you feel every mood.

You can pile up mounds of money,
And drive in your late-model car,
But in the end it won’t be funny,
When you gaze at Heaven from afar.
