I JUST WANT TO BE LOVED

I just want to be loved,
Is it really too much to ask?
Has your heart grown so cold,
It’s become a difficult task?
We used to have a great love,
Which united us both as one,
Where did we get sidetracked,
So that our love became undone?
I long for days of sweetness,
Your embrace holding me so near,
Please don’t give up on us baby,
I’m still in love with you dear.
