IF HE DOESN’T COME

So what are you going to do,
If Jesus does not even come,
Will you to all those doubts,
Then just quickly succumb?

And what if what you believe,
Turns out to be a deception,
Will you simply re-evaluate,
Formulate a new perception?

Now you may think I’m crazy,
A heretic or possibly worse,
However what if in actuality,
You misunderstood a verse?

Realizing we’ve been in error,
Is not easy for some to admit,
But it is better to be humble,
Than simply give up and quit.

Tho you think it not important,
It’s an idea you must consider,
For if my thoughts are correct,
I do not want you to be bitter.

Thus I urge you to be careful,
About everything you believe,
So many wolves are out there,
And they’re waiting to deceive.
