To mature in our faith,
Is our duty to the Lord,
Faith will grow daily,
As we study His Word.

Remaining as children,
Saddens God above,
So don’t resist growing,
Do you need a shove?

Learn what you can,
Your gifts do exercise,
Step out on your faith,
You’ll please His eyes.

Become a fruitful tree,
Branches big and wide,
And your spiritual light,
Do not ever try to hide.

This God desired when,
Your seed He did plant,
Thus no more excuses,
Do not think you can’t.

So what have you got?
Are talents well spent?
Did you take advantage,
Of the gifts God sent?
