They say we’re the greatest generation,
Which has ever lived on Planet Earth,
Yet I am forced to ponder and question,
And really wonder about our true worth.
We have made great strides in science,
And we are exploring even Outer Space,
But we really must stop now and consider,
What we are all doing to our own place.
We abort unborn babies by the millions,
And we pollute the sea, land and sky,
We war and create nukes by the 1000s,
So that the whole world can easily die.
“Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.” Romans 16:17. KJV
“Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.” 1 Corinthians 1:10, KJV
“For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?” 1 Corinthians 3:3, KJV
“Now in this that I declare unto you I praise you not, that ye come together not for the better, but for the worse. For first of all, when ye come together in the church, I hear that there be divisions among you; and I partly believe it.” 1 Corinthians 11:17-18, KJV

I am really sorry to have to tell you,
And although I’m not trying to be rude,
Well, the simple truth of the matter,
Is that your beliefs are rather skewed.
You embrace the Futurist perspective,
Which puts prophecies in times ahead,
Yet if you carefully inspect the Bible,
You will discover you have been misled.
The deception began in the early 1800s,
In both Great Britain and in the U.S.,
With MacDonald, Darby & the Millerites,
Who all created quite a doctrinal mess.
Through a misinterpretation of Daniel,
They arrived at the wrong conclusion,
And tho a Great Disappointment came,
Today there’s still doctrinal confusion.
Many have hopped on the bandwagon,
From Left Behind to Adventists & more,
Yet they’ll all end up so disappointed,
Just like those Millerites were before.

Because I was once under a delusion,
I likewise believed as I had too heard,
Till God gave me a big Word infusion.
Eventually it became apparent to me,
I was misguided by doctrines of men,
But after many years of Bible study,
I won’t let them deceive me again.
