“Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.” Acts 5:29, KJV
“What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:31, KJV
“So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.” Hebrews 13:6, KJV
“Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it? When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you? What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before? It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him. And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father. From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.” John 6:60-66, KJV
“Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.” Mark 8:38, KJV
“And he said, I have been very jealous for the LORD God of hosts: for the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away. And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the LORD. And, behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the LORD; but the LORD was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the LORD was not in the earthquake: And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice. And it was so, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entering in of the cave. And, behold, there came a voice unto him, and said, What doest thou here, Elijah? And he said, I have been very jealous for the LORD God of hosts: because the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away.” 1 Kings 19:10-14, KJV
“And Jonathan said to the young man that bare his armour, Come, and let us go over unto the garrison of these uncircumcised: it may be that the LORD will work for us: for there is no restraint to the LORD to save by many or by few.” 1 Samuel 14:6, KJV
“Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.” Zechariah 4:6, KJV
While all of the verses in this set of graphics are discussing the ancient, stubborn, rebellious Israelites who repeatedly backslid against the Lord, and fell into deep apostasy, they could just as easily be talking about modern America, or any other modern nation which has heard the Gospel, and yet continues in rebellion against the Lord and His holy Word. Repent, because your day of reckoning is coming!

Whether you’re America’s son or a daughter,
Well, sorry, but you’re still just cannon fodder.
Of course, they’ll make you promises galore,
Anything to convince you to fight their war.
They will talk about patriotism, you will see,
Tell you you’re helping to spread democracy.
Now just go kill the enemy and all will be well,
But those countries have all turned into hell.
Yes, look at nations where the USA invaded,
There is no peace and now America is hated.
Go right ahead, count off nations one by one,
Not any of them is now democratically run.
They all still squabble and they all still fight,
So why did we send all our American might?
Billions of dollars spent & weapons sent too,
One of these days they may use ‘em on you.
So when that sly recruiter offers you a chair,
Don’t be so stupid, man just get out of there!
Why is it that the governments of men,
Always think that war is the solution?
They do not like some foreign leader,
So they work towards their dissolution.
Just to satisfy general world opinion,
Diplomacy gets a half-hearted endeavor,
But then tempers really begin to flare,
Berserko threatens with nuclear lever.
National economies have been destroyed,
As millions upon millions of people die,
Someday the warmongers will be silenced,
When an angry God firmly asks them why.
