I really love writing poetry. In fact, since 2014, I have written over 1,020 poems, over half of which have already been converted into actual songs. While most are Christian in nature, I have also composed political poems, humorous poems, poems about human relationships, and a lot more. My poems are carefully divided by topic into over 117 different categories.
Not only that, but below each poem, there is a list of links which will lead you to Bible studies which are directly related to the topic of the poem you are currently reading. These Bible studies include my articles and topical KJV Bible Verse Lists.
So, if you enjoy poetry too, as well as ORIGINAL Christian music, please consider checking out my official poetry and song page at the following URL:
As each new year continues to pass,
The choice becomes that more clear,
You are either walking in God’s light,
Or lost in Satan’s darkness and fear.
There is currently a great war raging,
Although not known or seen by men,
It’s a terrible battle for our very souls,
Which will end only God knows when.
The war is fought with words & thots,
To influence what we’ll each believe,
We can place our faith in God’s Word,
Or allow Satan our minds to deceive.
For people who have not yet chosen,
It is quite certain their day will come,
The time for just sitting on the fence,
Will most assuredly at last be done.
For God will truly sift each one’s soul,
That He may know what lies therein,
Now if you have wisely chosen Christ,
There will be forgiveness for your sin.
But those who have rejected the light,
Shall be subjected to God’s great ire,
Because if they’ve refused to repent,
They will be cast into a hot lake of fire.

I don’t think this graphic really requires an explanation, does it? I just thought that I would invent a new Latin phrase for a bread heel, even if it is stupid and ridiculous, and even if it isn’t really Latin. 🙂
Man, just look at those flippin’ politicians,
Have you ever seen anything so absurd?
One day they are promising you one thing,
And next they’re going back on their word.
But that has always been their real story,
No intention to deliver what they even say,
They’ll tell you just what you want to hear,
So you will vote for them on election day.
But sadly, the naive and gullible sheeple,
They just never really seem to get a clue,
They are like those Russian Pavlov dogs,
Which come running if you throw a shoe.
Command and response is their method,
Some crafty politicians use it all the time,
They manipulate with chosen buzz words,
So their voters will quickly turn on a dime.
And that, my friends, is the simple reason,
Why you should not blindly trust in a pol,
If they flip-flop like some fish out of water,
Then know they are just playing their role.
