Folks, for me personally, when it comes to friend requests, the bottom line is this. The more you BOLDLY and CONSISTENTLY share God’s Word on your page, the more inclined I will be to accept your friend request.
On the other hand, if all you post is worldly nonsense, or if you rarely post and only update your profile pic and cover image, or if there are only tagged posts from your friends on your page, your chances of having your friend request accepted by me are about zero.
I just thought you should know before you decide to send me a friend request. Let’s get serious about Jesus! Thanks for understanding.
“He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.” Daniel 3:25, KJV
“I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.” Daniel 7:13-14, KJV
The Daniel verses are NOT the only ones that mention Jesus being the Son of God in the Old Testament. In fact, the entirety of Psalm Two is talking all about God the Father, and His beloved Son Jesus Christ. For those of my readers who may not be aware of it, according to Christian beliefs, in the Old Testament, when LORD is written in all uppercase letters, it’s really a substitute for “YHWH” — which is the always unspoken Hebrew Tetragrammaton — and it always signifies God the Father. In other instances, the word “Lord” — with only the uppercase “L” — is translated from the Hebrew word “Adonai”, and can indicate Jesus Christ. In Psalm Two, verse two, the phrase “his anointed” is referring to Jesus Christ:
“Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure. Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel. Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth. Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.” Psalms 2:1-12, KJV
“And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and THOU SHALT CALL THEM TO MIND among all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath driven thee, And SHALT RETURN unto the LORD thy God, and SHALT OBEY his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul; That THEN the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee. If any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence will the LORD thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee: And the LORD thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers. And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live. And the LORD thy God will put all these curses upon thine enemies, and on them that hate thee, which persecuted thee. And thou shalt return and obey the voice of the LORD, and do all his commandments which I command thee this day. And the LORD thy God will make thee plenteous in every work of thine hand, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy land, for good: for the LORD will again rejoice over thee for good, as he rejoiced over thy fathers: If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if thou turn unto the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.” Deuteronomy 30:1-10, KJV
