“And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name.” Acts 5:41, KJV
“I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.” Ephesians 4:1-3, KJV
“For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;” Colossians 1:9-10, KJV

“So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure: Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer: Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you; And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day. Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power: That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.” 2 Thessalonians 1:4-12, KJV
Since the latter half of the 20th century, many Christians have tried to identify the biblical Antichrist. Some of the popular candidates have included: Adolf Hitler, Benito Mussolini, Barack Obama, Donald Trump, Elon Musk, Emmanuel Macron, Jared Kushner, John Lennon, Lord Maitreya, Popes Francis & Leo, King Charles, Saddam Hussein and Qa’im Abdullah Hashem Aba Al Sadiq. But what if they are all wrong, and the Antichrist is really a figure from the distant past, and NOT a soon-coming global leader, as the doctrine of Futurism erroneously proposes?
