Oh there is just so much frustration,
When a gecko catches my kitty’s eye,
She wants to grab that lizard badly,
But it’s up on the ceiling so very high.
Thus desperate she comes to tell me,
Hoping that I am able to help her out,
But, you see, I like those little lizards,
So I refuse to participate in their rout.
Yet after her much insistent pleading,
I will go to check out what is going on,
While my kitty prances around my feet,
Not knowing that I am playing the con.
Of course there is no way I can tell her,
That for dinner gecko won’t be served,
Canned tuna and Iams need to suffice,
Until my dear kitty’s appetite is curved.
So as I gaze at the creature up yonder,
I talk and point to it with great concern,
To let kitty know I really do understand,
But to see lizzy suffer I just don’t yearn.
The distraction faction is working hard,
Boy, just watch them digging up the dirt,
Both parties so busy looking for rumors,
They want to make their opponents hurt.
It does not matter if what’s said isn’t true,
As long as people believe, well it is okay,
You gotta make them look the very worst,
So they will really flop come election day.
That’s my boy! Just go dig up some mud,
And throw it right in your opponent’s face,
Rip them apart and just make them bleed,
So they can’t possibly ever take first place.
There is just no time for trying to play nice,
You’ve worked so hard to make it this far,
So don’t be a wimp, take off those gloves,
Show that bozo that you are one true star.
Sometimes we become so very anxious,
And we worry about what may lie ahead,
That old Devil tries to fill us all with fear,
But we just need to trust the Lord instead.
Yet trusting doesn’t always come so easy,
Particularly when we begin to look around,
The world’s filled with all sorts of problems,
And for certain many dangers do abound.
So then exactly what is the right solution,
And how can we bring our hearts peace?
Is there an easy way to calm life’s storms,
So that the great waves of fear will cease?
Well, I am happy to say there’s an answer,
Which has been known for so many years,
It will remove the turmoil from your mind,
And most assuredly wipe away your tears.
Instead of looking around at the sad world,
You need to put your eyes just on the Lord,
Then though winds howl and waves crash,
On His ship He will keep you safely aboard.
While it will not always be smooth sailing,
Your holy Captain knows the safest way,
He’ll guide you through the rough waters,
And you will arrive at a much brighter day.
Oh my dear Christian friends,
I am not trying to be a hound,
But it would be so really great,
If I knew you had been around.
Well, it just gets so very lonely,
In my small corner of the net,
So leaving a like or comment,
Lets me know you didn’t forget.
We all need encouragement,
And quite frankly I’m the same,
So when you post a few words,
I at least know that you came.
T
hanks for your consideration,
I am not trying to be a big pest,
But now that I have said this,
To God will just leave the rest.

There are many other similar verses. Please also read all of Psalm 91.
So I went food shopping the other day,
Got my stuff and then went up to pay.
Afterwards I thot my total seemed high,
But I didn’t even bother to ask ‘em why.
Now later in the day it bothered me still,
Yet I did not look at that expensive bill.
Then during the night as I lay in my bed,
Thoughts of that total yet filled my head.
So I got out of bed and went to the trash,
To find out what happened to my cash.
I got the receipt & examined each thing,
Man oh man, it just didn’t make me sing!
Hershey’s kisses are my pleasure in life,
But why so more expensive than a wife?
Let me tell you dude, it just really sucks,
It was a two-pound bag for twenty bucks!
When I saw it I nearly went thru the roof,
Now how can I satisfy my sweet tooth?
I don’t shop often so well I bought three,
As you can imagine, I am feeling misery.
At this point I am not certain what to do,
Are my kisses eating days sadly through?
I deserve to have my one sweet pleasure,
Even if I truly spend beyond my measure.
I am an old man, my days are soon done,
So I’ll just keep on having my kisses fun.
It will be talked about for many years,
Precisely when the dam finally broke,
I am referring to that pivotal moment,
When on her sins she began to choke.
But as I sit here and give it some thot,
I think it was in the 50s when it began,
There was a shift in attitudes & music,
Because the Devil surely had his plan.
Like a stubborn weed in one’s garden,
A dark spirit of rebellion slowly grew,
If you were carefully paying attention,
Perhaps you also saw it growing too.
Now when rock n roll music appeared,
It shocked a more conservative crowd,
So unlike the music that was common,
It was certainly aggressive and loud.
Then along came the king Elvis Presley,
And tho they say Elvis hated the name,
A person can sometimes truly wonder,
If it was his pelvis that gave him fame.
Thus it is not very difficult to conclude,
That a liberal spirit crept into the land,
Sadly, some seventy years later today,
That wicked spirit is totally out of hand.
Next came the 60s generation & hippies,
Who wanted drugs and peace and love,
They protested against the government,
No more bloody wars or push and shove.
But it was also during that generation,
That the sexual revolution came to be,
One’s personal inhibitions were passé,
Those young people wanted to be free.
Now as the years continued to progress,
The music grew more rebellious & bold,
While sexual promiscuity & many drugs,
On this country took a strangling hold.
But that old serpent still was not happy,
Indeed, so greedy, he yet desired more,
Abortion, same-sex marriage and trans,
Were so carefully advanced to the fore.
Thus today we have a divided country,
It is split between the red and the blue,
So many rebel against God’s holy laws,
While His children strive to remain true.
Yes, it’s sad to say the dam has broken,
And a flood of evil is sweeping us away,
There really isn’t much that we can do,
Besides get down and desperately pray.
But God’s grace may be growing short,
How much rebellion should He endure?
Sooner or later His judgments will fall,
Because America is rotten to the core.
The other day I saw something lewd,
Oh yeah, man, it was just really crude.
I was in the lunchroom where I work,
When a young couple began to twerk,
Now I’d never seen such dance before,
Dude, I almost fell right on that floor.
Sexual girations and other nasty stuff,
I finally decided that I’d seen enough.
So I said something, it did not go well,
The guy glared and said “Go to hell!”
Then his girlfriend called me a jerk,
Well, that did it, and I went berserk.
Grabbed the radio, took out the plug,
The folks thought I was on some drug.
Next thing I know the security came,
And everyone agreed I was to blame.
So now here I sit in this dirty jail cell,
Man, quite frankly I’m not feeling well.
You see down the hall within my view,
I see people dancing, a couple or two.
Yes, you guessed it, need I say more?
Look out twerkers, this so means war!
