TOAST AND ROAST

This life is full of so many lessons,
No doubt you have learned a few,
I have one I would so like to share,
That is, if you’ll kindly allow me to.

Now we have all heard this before,
Don’t put electricals near the tub,
Because it could shorten your life,
And that would be a serious flub.

So once there was a certain lady,
Who thought that she knew better,
She was such a stubborn woman,
Whatever she wanted they let her.

Well, part of her morning routine,
Was having her tea & jam & toast,
But the toaster fell into the water,
And thus her life ended as a roast.
