THE PROCESS

My mom sometimes wonders,
How I write my poems so fast,
Well, to be perfectly honest,
It is really quite an easy task.
I just get sudden inspirations,
As words begin to fill my head,
I write so many on my iPhone,
While I relax comfy in my bed.
I cannot say that I even know,
Where each poem may lead,
It is a moment by moment act,
Like a word adventure indeed.
After I get the main structure,
I will go back and edit it a bit,
And then once I feel satisfied,
At last it is finally time to quit.
