They insist we should call God,
By an Old Testament Hebrew name,
But in all of the four Gospels,
Jesus never quite did the same.

Thus, when He taught us to pray,
In the well-known Lord’s Prayer,
We see the words “Our Father”,
Is what is really written there.

When Jesus prayed in the Garden,
Right before the Jews Him abused,
He did not use some Hebrew word,
“Father” is exactly what He used.

Over and over again we can see it,
“My Father”, “Your Father”, right?
But as for a certain Hebrew name,
It’s just simply nowhere in sight.

So Jesus was our primary example,
And we should do exactly as He did,
I won’t get hung up on the Hebrew,
Or debate it like some little kid.

The other New Testament writers,
Followed this same line of thought,
There’s no sign of a Hebrew name,
They used “God” and “Father” a lot.

These are merely a few examples,
I could give you so many more,
But my point is already clear,
Throw your legalism out the door.

As a Bible-believing Christian and a Conservative, aren’t you really tired of all of the censorship, discrimination and harassment which you continually experience on the liberal social networks? Aren’t you tired of having your posts removed, your voice silenced, being thrown in jail countless times, and being shadow banned because you don’t tow the liberal line? Do you have hundreds or possibly even thousands of friends, and yet it seems that only a few dozen of them see your posts on a regular basis, and even fewer of your friends react to them with a like, comment or share? Wouldn’t you like something better?

It is a wonderful feeling,
To know God is in control,
While Satan tries to bury us,
And throw us in some hole.

So many are our battles,
Our afflictions are not few,
If it were not for Jesus,
We wouldn’t know what to do.

But the Lord is ever present,
With His help we stand tall,
Despite the Devil’s devices,
We can rise above it all.
