You thought you were oh so intelligent,
When you carried out your devious plot,
But what you obviously did not realize,
Is that by God you were already caught.
The Lord saw what you were planning,
He heard every word that you had said,
But He wanted to teach you a big lesson,
So now it’s come right back on your head.
If there’s one thing you’re now learning,
And if there’s one thing you should know,
By now it should be painfully obvious,
That we all reap exactly what we sow.
So then, do YOU want to feast on both the Milk and the Meat of God’s wonderful Word? In that case, here is where you need to go. You will find a larger links table on the bottom of most pages of the Bill’s Bible Basics website:
Some say the Universe was an accident,
A big bang that was waiting to explode,
Well, I have one big question for you,
Tell me, its trigger who then did load?
With all your fancy degrees in science,
Of cause and effect you’re very aware,
Things don’t just happen by themselves,
There’s a kind of catalytic force there.
So it’s time to accept what’s so obvious,
Please abandon your high-minded pretense,
Intelligent Design is not just a theory,
And believing in God makes perfect sense.
“Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth! And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.” James 3:5-6, KJV
Girls & boys, with their little toys,
At a tiny screen they love to stare,
It’s so small, I see nothing at all,
Makes me want to pull out my hair.
For a treat, desktops can’t be beat,
Tho’ they sometimes can be so mean,
But I just want, my great big font,
So on big ‘puters I am really keen.
Yeah keep your phone, out of my zone,
My big workhorse just suits me fine,
Go play, with your tiny thing all day,
While I do real serious work on mine.
So, my friends, what it really comes down to is this:
“Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.” Psalm 119:11, KJV
“. . . For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.” Psalm 119:89, KJV
“. . . Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” Psalm 119:105, KJV
“Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it.” Psalm 119:140, KJV
“Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.” Psalm 119:160, KJV
“Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.” John 17:17, KJV
“I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.” Psalm 138:2, KJV
“Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.” Psalm 119:18, KJV
“Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.” Psalm 139:6, KJV
“O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!” Romans 11:33, KJV
“But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” John 14:26, KJV
“Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.” John 16:13, KJV
“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.” James 1:5, KJV

It is a very common problem on the social networks. Your friends will sometimes say to you “I haven’t seen any of your posts in a very long time.” Well, quite often, the solution is simply a matter of more engagement. In other words, they need to engage/interact more with you.
It is a well-known fact that social network algorithms decide in part how much content to show you from your friends’ pages, based on your interaction with them. The more you comment, like and share their posts, the more content you will likely see from their page in your news feed, because the algorithms have determined that you have an interest in that person.
In contrast, if all you do is post and post and post on your OWN page, but you never venture out and interact with your friends, then you will see less and less of their posts in your news feed as time passes. They may indeed be very busy posting away, but you will never see most of it. So, please ENGAGE!
“But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.” Hebrews 13:16, KJV
