“And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and THOU SHALT CALL THEM TO MIND among all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath driven thee, And SHALT RETURN unto the LORD thy God, and SHALT OBEY his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul; That THEN the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee. If any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence will the LORD thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee: And the LORD thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers. And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live. And the LORD thy God will put all these curses upon thine enemies, and on them that hate thee, which persecuted thee. And thou shalt return and obey the voice of the LORD, and do all his commandments which I command thee this day. And the LORD thy God will make thee plenteous in every work of thine hand, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy land, for good: for the LORD will again rejoice over thee for good, as he rejoiced over thy fathers: If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if thou turn unto the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.” Deuteronomy 30:1-10, KJV

In the original Hebrew, the English word scapegoat is “azazel”. Please refer to the article entitled “Azazel: Scapegoat of the High Priest” for more details regarding this topic.
“Azazel the Scapegoat and Fallen Angel” KJV Bible Verse List:
Do you hear it? Tick-tock, tick-tock,
It is the sound of a prophetic clock.
Some say Christ’s time draws near,
But I don’t give those people an ear.
They don’t see their clock is broken,
Believing stuff God has not spoken.
So deceived by what Futurists claim,
Not knowing they’ve missed the aim.
Quite convinced it’s the end of years,
But someday soon they’ll shed tears.
Once they understand their mistake,
That their belief was just all so fake.
For decades it has been very strong,
As it has pulled many people along.
Giving them false hope for His return,
To this very day they in fact still yearn.
The real truth for them is hard to bear,
Tho I try to tell them they do not care.
They prefer instead to embrace the lie,
But the day comes when they will cry.
Why did they believe what they heard,
Instead of searching God’s holy Word?
The prophecies already came to term,
Of this belief I still remain rather firm.
It is my hope that you also will believe,
And this truth you’ll be able to receive.
Just cast off that Futurists’ deception,
Ask God for true Scriptural perception.
He will open your eyes, of this I’m sure,
Tell me now, what are you waiting for?
The Bible tells us that unleavened bread was eaten with bitter herbs, as a reminder to the Israelites of the bitter years they spent in bondage to the Egyptians. In describing this bread, and why it was eaten, the KJV Bible informs us of the following:
“And they made their lives bitter with hard bondage, in morter, and in brick, and in all manner of service in the field: all their service, wherein they made them serve, was with rigour.” Exodus 1:14, KJV
“Thou shalt eat no leavened bread with it; seven days shalt thou eat unleavened bread therewith, even the bread of affliction; for thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt in haste: that thou mayest remember the day when thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt all the days of thy life.” Deuteronomy 16:3, KJV
“And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it.” Exodus 12:8, KJV
“The fourteenth day of the second month at even they shall keep it, and eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.” Numbers 9:11, KJV
“And unleavened bread, and cakes unleavened tempered with oil, and wafers unleavened anointed with oil: of wheaten flour shalt thou make them.” Exodus 29:2, KJV
According to the Brown, Driver, Briggs, Gesenius Hebrew Aramaic English Lexicon, the term “unleavend bread” is derived from the word “matstsah” — pronounced mats-tsaw’ — which it defines as “bread or cake without leaven”. It also states that “matstsah” is in turn derived from “matsats” — pronounced maw-tsats’ — which means “to drain out or suck”. In referring to this second Hebrew word, the lexicon states “in the sense of greedily devouring for sweetness”.
It is quite possible then, that unleavened bread, while it may have been heavy and flat, may also have been sweet to the taste.
To add support for this idea, consider the following verse from the Book of Ezekiel; taking into account that the word “meat”, is also translated as “bread”:
“My meat also which I gave thee, fine flour, and oil, and honey, wherewith I fed thee, thou hast even set it before them for a sweet savour: and thus it was, saith the Lord GOD.” Ezekiel 16:19, KJV
And of course, “Every day with Jesus — the true Bread of Life who was born in Bethlehem, or “house of bread” — is sweeter than the day before!”.
