Out of the Spirit, and in the flesh,
Oh this body can be such a mess.
Quite often sick, other times tired,
It makes it hard, to stay inspired.
Moanin’ n’ groanin’, it won’t give in,
Old man fights new man, who will win?
But God knows best, He has a reason,
Giving us a body, for a short season.
It is His way, to perform His Will,
Reaching others who need Jesus still.
So keep busy for now, and never doubt,
Day comes when our lights will go out.
“Abstain from all appearance of evil.” 1 Thessalonians 5:22, KJV
“The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.” Romans 13:12, KJV
“For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light . . . And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather REPROVE them.” Ephesians 5:8, 11, KJV
“Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation. Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord’s sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme; Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well. For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men: As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.” 1 Peter 2:12-16, KJV
“Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time. Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.” Colossians 4:5-6, KJV
“That ye may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that ye may have lack of nothing.” 1 Thessalonians 4:12, KJV
“If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.” Romans 12:18, KJV
Many of us have at different times,
Known the sad mistress loneliness,
One of her jobs which she does well,
Is to absolutely steal our happiness.
How we fall into such a dismal state,
Just happens for so many a reason,
But one thing which we surely know,
Is that it is never a pleasant season.
We stop and think how many people,
Have a spouse, family, friends or pets,
But as for us we’ve got none of these,
And it can fill our hearts with regrets.
Perhaps we made a mistake before,
That led to our current sad situation.
Oh, yes, we are feeling so miserable,
There’s just no time for any jubilation.
But rather than place our eyes on us,
We require a different kind of solution,
It might begin with a very simple step,
That is, to offer ourselves absolution.
Now if we made some personal error,
We cannot remain trapped in the past,
For if we stay and don’t move forward,
This loneliness is guaranteed to last.
So lift your eyes up towards the Lord,
You really need to stop looking down,
Because if you do, I know for certain,
You will no longer be wearing a frown.
Now instead of thinking about yourself,
Find somebody else who has a need,
Then do your best to help them out,
And they will become a friend indeed.
Just like that your loneliness is gone,
A new friendship has now taken root,
As you can see it was not really hard,
To give that old mistress a final boot.
“The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things. Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.” John 4:25-26, KJV
“I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins . . . Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.” John 8:24, 28, KJV
“Now I tell you before it come, that, when it is come to pass, ye may believe that I am he.” John 13:19, KJV
“They answered him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith unto them, I am he. And Judas also, which betrayed him, stood with them. As soon then as he had said unto them, I am he, they went backward, and fell to the ground. Then asked he them again, Whom seek ye? And they said, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus answered, I have told you that I am he: if therefore ye seek me, let these go their way:” John 18:5-8, KJV
“I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.” Revelation 1:18, KJV
“And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.” Revelation 2:23, KJV
I am tired of seeing all your nonsense,
It just fills up my Facebook news feed,
You claim to be a teacher of the Bible,
Which you appear to hardly ever read.
Because if you honestly really read it,
You wouldn’t say the silly stuff you do,
Your understanding is just so mixed up,
And you do not have the faintest clue.
You condemn those who accept OSAS,
You insist Jesus is surely coming soon,
You talk so much about aliens & UFOs,
And say we never landed on the Moon.
You believe people control hurricanes,
And that planet Earth is in reality flat,
My friend, you really make me wonder,
Where your much confused head is at.
You say they use Blue Beam to trick us,
The false prophet is the pope in Rome,
And we cannot ever go to Outer Space,
Because Earth is underneath a dome.
Now regarding that wicked Antichrist,
You are convinced Obama is the man,
You believe he is increasing his power,
As he carefully carries out his evil plan.
In Hollywood you say they drink blood,
Celebs sacrifice babies to a false god,
Yeah, you have so many weird beliefs,
Friend, I just find you really rather odd.
Instead of sharing so much nonsense,
You should preach God’s Word instead,
But as for all of that other strange stuff,
Will you please get it out of your head?
