When friends desert you and family takes flight,
When your joy turns to sorrow and day to night,
When the demons of hell roar and fill with fright,
Remember, you are His.
When love abandons you and loneliness steps in,
When peace departs and turmoil fills you within,
When darkness surrounds you and tempts to sin,
Remember, you are His.
You are His, dear child, don’t you ever forget,
You are His, dear child, tho Satan casts his net,
You are His, dear child, there’s no need to fret,
Remember, you are forever and always His.
NATO provokes Russia with expansion,
While China grows in South China Sea,
Both Iran and North Korea go nuclear,
While Russia annexes Crimea totally.
Jews and Palestinians are in conflict,
While Duerte thumbs his nose at USA,
ISIS spreads its terror across Europe,
India & Pakistan find no peaceful way.
All of this provocation and turmoil,
Fueled by so much hatred greed & fear,
It really makes one stop and wonder,
If we’ll make it even one more year.
I bet you think that you’re oh so cool,
But could it be that you’re just a tool?
They wind you up and they set you down,
And you prance around just like a clown.
Your controllers tell you what to say,
You spew propaganda all the live long day.
You seem to think that you are so free,
Down you go if they say “Bend the knee!”
Free from your masters not really you are,
You’re just like a bug in a mason jar.
You see outside but you’re trapped within,
See, there they go winding you up again.

But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me. But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it to dogs. And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table. Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.” Matthew 15:22-28, KJV
