This image shows an American jet performing a high-speed pass. This maneuver results in the formation of a vapor cone which surrounds the back half of the jet. When viewed head-on, an inexperienced observer might presume that the jet has suddenly appeared out of nowhere as through an inter-dimensional portal.
This demonstrates how easy it is for some people to misidentify objects in the sky, which gives rise to the birth of unwarranted UFO sightings.
Article: “Nature of the Alien: ETs, Demons or a Government Plot?”:
“Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household. He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.” Matthew 10:34-38, KJV
“Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death. And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.” Mark 13:12-13, KJV
“Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division: For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three. The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.” Luke 12:51-53, KJV
“And there was much murmuring among the people concerning him: for some said, He is a good man: others said, Nay; but he deceiveth the people . . . Many of the people therefore, when they heard this saying, said, Of a truth this is the Prophet. Others said, This is the Christ. But some said, Shall Christ come out of Galilee? Hath not the scripture said, That Christ cometh of the seed of David, and out of the town of Bethlehem, where David was? So there was a division among the people because of him.” John 7:12, 40-43, KJV
“Therefore said some of the Pharisees, This man is not of God, because he keepeth not the sabbath day. Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among them.” John 9:16, KJV
“There was a division therefore again among the Jews for these sayings. And many of them said, He hath a devil, and is mad; why hear ye him? Others said, These are not the words of him that hath a devil. Can a devil open the eyes of the blind?” John 10:19-21, KJV
“And it came to pass in Iconium, that they went both together into the synagogue of the Jews, and so spake, that a great multitude both of the Jews and also of the Greeks believed. But the unbelieving Jews stirred up the Gentiles, and made their minds evil affected against the brethren. Long time therefore abode they speaking boldly in the Lord, which gave testimony unto the word of his grace, and granted signs and wonders to be done by their hands. But the multitude of the city was divided: and part held with the Jews, and part with the apostles.” Acts 14:1-4, KJV
“But when Paul perceived that the one part were Sadducees, and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council, Men and brethren, I am a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee: of the hope and resurrection of the dead I am called in question. And when he had so said, there arose a dissension between the Pharisees and the Sadducees: and the multitude was divided. For the Sadducees say that there is no resurrection, neither angel, nor spirit: but the Pharisees confess both.” Acts 23:6-8, KJV
Folks, there are a lot of strange birds out there.
On one hand, you’ve got the Orthodox Jews who only accept the Old Testament as being valid Scripture. Not only that, but they seem to view the opinions and interpretations of their rabbis in the Talmud — Mishnah and Gemara — as being more important than the Scriptures themselves.
Then you’ve also got what I refer to as the Pauline Extremists who seem to erroneously place the words of the Apostle Paul even before the words of Jesus Himself in the four Gospels. They don’t outright reject the four Gospels, but they view the Gospel to the Gentiles as barely beginning in the Book of Acts, and really beginning in Paul’s Epistle to the Romans.
Personally, I view both of those extreme positions as dangerous and a serious imbalance.
For the record, I embrace, read, quote from and teach from the entire Scriptures — from Genesis to Revelation — in many of my articles, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
After all, as they say, “the Old Testament is the New Testament concealed, and the New Testament is the Old Testament revealed”.
Quite frankly, you can’t have one without the other. As Jesus said, He came to fulfill the Law and the Prophets, so the Old Testament is very important to modern-day Christians.
In fact, as you may know, even the Apostles quoted from the Old Testament, as did Jesus Himself, many times.
The truth of the matter is that the Old and New Testaments fit together like a hand in a glove. You need to know and understand one, in order to understand the other.
Please remember that a false balance is abomination to the Lord — Proverbs 11:1.
