DIVINE CURSES — KJV (King James Version) Bible Verse List

#Scriptures #BibleStudy #BibleVerses #DivineCurses #DivineCurse

“Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die . . . And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat. And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life . . . And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.”
Genesis 3:1-4, 13-14, 17-19, KJV

“And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar. And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake; for the imagination of mans heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.”
Genesis 8:20-21, KJV

“Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;”
Exodus 20:5, KJV

“And the priest shall write these curses in a book, and he shall blot them out with the bitter water:”
Numbers 5:23, KJV

“Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse; A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day: And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known.”
Deuteronomy 11:26-28, KJV

“But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee: Cursed shalt thou be in the city, and cursed shalt thou be in the field. Cursed shall be thy basket and thy store. Cursed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy land, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep. Cursed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and cursed shalt thou be when thou goest out. The LORD shall send upon thee cursing, vexation, and rebuke, in all that thou settest thine hand unto for to do, until thou be destroyed, and until thou perish quickly; because of the wickedness of thy doings, whereby thou hast forsaken me.”
Deuteronomy 28:15-20, KJV

“Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I WILL BRING EVIL upon this place, and upon the inhabitants thereof, even all the curses that are written in the book which they have read before the king of Judah:”
2 Chronicles 34:24, KJV

“Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.”
Jeremiah 17:5, KJV

“Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will send upon them the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, and will make them like vile figs, that cannot be eaten, they are so evil. And I will persecute them with the sword, with the famine, and with the pestilence, and will deliver them to be removed to all the kingdoms of the earth, to be a curse, and an astonishment, and an hissing, and a reproach, among all the nations whither I have driven them:”
Jeremiah 29:17-18, KJV

“When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world . . . Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:”
Matthew 25:31-34, 41, KJV

“Pilate saith unto them, What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ? They all say unto him, Let him be crucified. And the governor said, Why, what evil hath he done? But they cried out the more, saying, Let him be crucified. When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it. Then answered all the people, and said, HIS BLOOD BE ON US, AND ON OUR CHILDREN. Then released he Barabbas unto them: and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered him to be crucified.”
Matthew 27:22-26, KJV

“And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry: And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet. And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it . . . And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away.”
Mark 11:12-14, 20-21, KJV

“I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.”
Galatians 1:6-9, KJV

“But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith . . . Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:”
Galatians 3:11, 13, KJV

“And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him . . . And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.”
Revelation 21:1-3, 22, KJV

“And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:”
Revelation 22:1-3, KJV

DIVIDED BY THE WORD OF GOD — KJV (King James Version) Bible Verse List

#Scriptures #BibleStudy #BibleVerses #DividedByGodsWord #DividedByTheWordOfGod

“Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household. He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.”
Matthew 10:34-38, KJV

“Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death. And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.”
Mark 13:12-13, KJV

“Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division: For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three. The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.”
Luke 12:51-53, KJV

“And there was much murmuring among the people concerning him: for some said, He is a good man: others said, Nay; but he deceiveth the people . . . Many of the people therefore, when they heard this saying, said, Of a truth this is the Prophet. Others said, This is the Christ. But some said, Shall Christ come out of Galilee? Hath not the scripture said, That Christ cometh of the seed of David, and out of the town of Bethlehem, where David was? So there was a division among the people because of him.”
John 7:12, 40-43, KJV

“Therefore said some of the Pharisees, This man is not of God, because he keepeth not the sabbath day. Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among them.”
John 9:16, KJV

“There was a division therefore again among the Jews for these sayings. And many of them said, He hath a devil, and is mad; why hear ye him? Others said, These are not the words of him that hath a devil. Can a devil open the eyes of the blind?”
John 10:19-21, KJV

“And it came to pass in Iconium, that they went both together into the synagogue of the Jews, and so spake, that a great multitude both of the Jews and also of the Greeks believed. But the unbelieving Jews stirred up the Gentiles, and made their minds evil affected against the brethren. Long time therefore abode they speaking boldly in the Lord, which gave testimony unto the word of his grace, and granted signs and wonders to be done by their hands. But the multitude of the city was divided: and part held with the Jews, and part with the apostles.”
Acts 14:1-4, KJV

“But when Paul perceived that the one part were Sadducees, and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council, Men and brethren, I am a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee: of the hope and resurrection of the dead I am called in question. And when he had so said, there arose a dissension between the Pharisees and the Sadducees: and the multitude was divided. For the Sadducees say that there is no resurrection, neither angel, nor spirit: but the Pharisees confess both.”
Acts 23:6-8, KJV

DIFFICULTY OF UNDERSTANDING THE SCRIPTURES — KJV (King James Version) Bible Verse List

#Scriptures #BibleStudy #BibleVerses #Difficulty #Understanding #Understand

“Now as touching things offered unto idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth. And if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know.”
1 Corinthians 8:1-2, KJV

“If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness; He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings, Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.”
1 Timothy 6:3-5, KJV

“Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing. For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.”
Hebrews 5:11-14, KJV

“As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:”
1 Peter 2:2, KJV

“As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.”
2 Peter 3:16, KJV

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
Isaiah 55:8-9, KJV

“Which doeth great things past finding out; yea, and wonders without number.”
Job 9:10, KJV

“O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!”
Romans 11:33, KJV

DESTRUCTION OF HEROD’S TEMPLE — KJV (King James Version) Bible Verse List

#Scriptures #BibleStudy #BibleVerses #Destruction #HerodsTemple

“Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship. Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.”
John 4:20-24, KJV

“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! Behold, your house is left unto you desolate. For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord. And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple. And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.”
Matthew 23:37-24:2, KJV

“And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him, Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here! And Jesus answering said unto him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.”
Mark 13:1-2, KJV

“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not! Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.”
Luke 13:34-35, KJV

“And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said, As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down . . . And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.”

DESPERATE PRAYER — KJV (King James Version) Bible Verse List

#Scriptures #BibleStudy #BibleVerses #DesperatePrayer #Prayer

“In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live. Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto the LORD, saying, I beseech thee, O LORD, remember now how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore. And it came to pass, afore Isaiah was gone out into the middle court, that the word of the LORD came to him, saying, Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the LORD. And I will add unto thy days fifteen years; and I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for mine own sake, and for my servant David’s sake.”
2 Kings 20:1-6, KJV

“And David said unto Nathan, I have sinned against the LORD. And Nathan said unto David, The LORD also hath put away thy sin; thou shalt not die. Howbeit, because by this deed thou hast given great occasion to the enemies of the LORD to blaspheme, the child also that is born unto thee shall surely die. And Nathan departed unto his house. And the LORD struck the child that Uriah’s wife bare unto David, and it was very sick. David therefore besought God for the child; and David fasted, and went in, and lay all night upon the earth. And the elders of his house arose, and went to him, to raise him up from the earth: but he would not, neither did he eat bread with them. And it came to pass on the seventh day, that the child died. And the servants of David feared to tell him that the child was dead: for they said, Behold, while the child was yet alive, we spake unto him, and he would not hearken unto our voice: how will he then vex himself, if we tell him that the child is dead? But when David saw that his servants whispered, David perceived that the child was dead: therefore David said unto his servants, Is the child dead? And they said, He is dead. Then David arose from the earth, and washed, and anointed himself, and changed his apparel, and came into the house of the LORD, and worshipped: then he came to his own house; and when he required, they set bread before him, and he did eat. Then said his servants unto him, What thing is this that thou hast done? thou didst fast and weep for the child, while it was alive; but when the child was dead, thou didst rise and eat bread. And he said, While the child was yet alive, I fasted and wept: for I said, Who can tell whether GOD will be gracious to me, that the child may live? But now he is dead, wherefore should I fast? can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me.”
2 Samuel 12:13-23, KJV

“In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came unto him, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in order: for thou shalt die, and not live. Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall, and prayed unto the LORD, And said, Remember now, O LORD, I beseech thee, how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore. Then came the word of the LORD to Isaiah, saying, Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years. And I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria: and I will defend this city.”
Isaiah 38:1-6, KJV

“Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:‭”
Isaiah 55:6, KJV

“Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.”
Psalm 51:10, KJV

“Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican. The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess. And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.”
Luke 18:10-14, KJV

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.”
James 4:7-10, KJV

DEPART FROM EVIL — KJV (King James Version) Bible Verse List

#Scriptures #BibleStudy #BibleVerses #DepartFromEvil #ForsakeEvil

“See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil; In that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it. But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them; I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over Jordan to go to possess it. I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.”

THE DEVIL’S HOOK

by Bill Kochman

11-24-2016

There is no end to saying,
How bad you really are,
Just listen to the Devil,
He’ll leave your mouth ajar.

Things you have forgotten,
Are written in his book,
Once you start listening,
He’s got you with his hook.

Down and down you’ll go,
As your faith dissipates,
Quick! Speak God’s Word!
For that the Devil hates.

THE DEVIL’S GRATITUDE

by Bill Kochman

05-12-2014

Well thanks for putting into motion,
The very clever but comical notion,
That I’ve got two horns and a tail.
I must say the strategy is great,

Though the red suit is second rate,
But the tactic is kind of swell.
I just love all the free promotion,
And your rather obvious devotion,

It’s worked out oh so really well.
More powerful than a love potion,
It removes all the fearful emotion,
And sends so many straight to hell.

For those of you who don’t quite understand this poem, what it is saying is that because tradition has given Satan such a comical appearance, not only do many people no longer fear him, but they don’t even believe that he exists. He has in fact been relegated to the realm of myths. In short, by assigning the Devil a red suit, two horns, a goatee and a pitch fork, we have in fact done him a favor.

Well, the most dangerous enemy is one who we don’t even know is there, or who we don’t even recognize as being a threat. Because of this silly image of the Devil, many people no longer realize that Satan and his minions are working against them every single day, polluting their minds and hearts with lies and deceptions, tempting them with things, and generally trying to destroy God’s plan for their lives, which of course is Salvation.

That is why in this poem, he expresses gratitude for the fact that through our own tradition, we have removed the fear factor, and made him an invisible enemy to so many people. Their eternal fate is in jeopardy, and they don’t even realize it.

THE DEBT

by Bill Kochman

01-31-2018

No matter how much I may sacrifice each day,
It’s nothing compared to what Jesus did for me.
He bore the weight of all of my darkest sins,
When He chose to die on yonder Mount Calvary.

Even my very best for the Lord still falls short,
Compared to the Apostles of the First Century.
Persecuted, jailed, flogged, crucified, burned,
It’s because of them I can now believe, you see.

In our foolish pride sometimes we tend to boast,
About our service to God, with little humility,
But the truth is we owe them a tremendous debt,
Of this fact you will no doubt assuredly agree.

THE BEST REST

by Bill Kochman

11-26-2016

Sometimes we can feel so tired,
The limitations of our flesh,
But when our battery runs low,
We look to the Word to refresh.

It is much better than gasoline,
Or even solar power at its best,
We just go to Jesus and the Bible,
For there indeed we find our rest.

The Lord said He is our Sabbath,
All of our burdens He can take,
But if you try to do it yourself,
You’re making a very big mistake.

THE BARGAIN

by Bill Kochman

12-18-2016

A bargain remains a bargain,
Once it is made, it is made,
God made such an agreement,
From before the Earth was laid.

Jesus himself was a signatory,
And the beneficiaries are we,
He gave His Blood as a ransom,
So the Heavenly City we can see.

This Covenant will last forever,
And we will never be cast away,
God’s Word is holy and eternal,
No matter what the Devil may say.

THE ARRIVAL

by Bill Kochman

08-10-2020

There’s just so much deception,
Yes, it is all around, you see,
Many people are quite misguided,
Regarding the Bible’s prophecy.

Preachers giving a false hope,
They claim Jesus is coming soon,
But sadly they’re just deceived,
Their doctrines are out of tune.

Pre-Trib, Mid-Trib or Post-Trib,
Just look at all the confusion,
What so many don’t even realize,
Is that they’re under a delusion.

My friends, I have heard it all,
Indeed, for the past fifty years,
False teachers setting some date,
But no show, folks come to tears.

You see, Jesus made it so clear,
Concerning when He would arrive,
The Scriptures tell us plainly,
Some Apostles would yet be alive.

Their generation would not pass,
Is that not what the Lord said?
Modern preachers don’t like that,
They say it’s the future instead.

Even the Romans would see it too,
Thus it is written in Revelation,
I come quickly He told 7 churches,
There is no other interpretation.

So beware of misguided teachers,
Whose doctrines lead you astray,
Please study God’s Word yourself,
And be led by the Spirit and pray.

THE 613 TRAP — a poem and song by Bill Kochman

THE 613 TRAP

by Bill Kochman

01-05-2017

I am by no means a Jewish person,
I wasn’t born under the Mosaic Law,
I did not live 1000s of years ago,
So Moses and Prophets I never saw.

I am a full New Testament believer,
By the Blood of Christ I am saved,
I am sealed under His New Covenant,
I have a freedom which Jesus paved.

So don’t try to bind me in legalism,
I am not interested in all that crap,
As far as keeping those 613 mitzvoth,
It is just the Devil’s deceptive trap.

THANKFUL FOR THE FEW

by Bill Kochman

12-20-2016

Facebook numbers don’t mean much,
Now this you really ought to know,
Though many 1000s are on your list,
How many ever really make a show?

Most of them are simply strangers,
Who will rarely ever make a peep,
Silent lurkers deep in the outfield,
Don’t expect a relationship deep.

So be thankful for the few dozen,
Who truly in your inner circle be,
They’re the ones who communicate,
As part of your Christian family.

TEST OF FAITH

by Bill Kochman

11-26-2016

It seems that the older we get,
The harder the battles become,
Satan strikes hard at our minds,
As our faith he tries to numb.

We’ve believed all of our lives,
Day to day and night after night,
Yet in a moment of our weakness,
We wonder if we’ve got it right.

Looking across our long years,
We have believed without a sign,
But that’s what faith is all about,
It is a test by God’s own design.

TERRORIST

by Bill Kochman

05-30-2016

I am just a simple terrorist,
I wreak havoc wherever I go,
I have no love, only hate,
But I follow my prophet Mo’.

The infidels are on my list,
I slay them with all my might,
Prophet says defend our faith,
And I know he must be right.

I’m not blind, I know the truth,
Don’t confuse me with your word,
For if you do, I will hunt you too,
And cut your neck with my sword.
