Well I once went to my friend’s church,
They were twitching and jerking so odd,
But a preacher stood there and told me,
“Join in! This is a manifestation of God!”
My spirit told me something different,
It was creepy watching them in a trance,
They moaned and groaned then fell down,
But I refused to partake in their “dance”.
One broke out in uncontrollable laughter,
While a woman rolled around on the floor,
A man stomped his feet crying Hallelujah,
It was time for me to make it to the door.
Some say these things are of the Spirit,
But which spirit are they talking about?
Unless it all conforms to the Scriptures,
Friend, you really had better watch out!

A two-part article which examines what the Apostle Paul meant when he wrote that he was crucified with Christ. It explains the true meaning of submission and sacrificial, Christian service to the Lord.
“And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the LORD come.
