This two-part article concerns the importance of remaining humble and displaying a spirit of humility with regards to our personal understanding of God’s Word. It likewise warns against allowing our knowledge to lift us up in pride, and exposes false prophets and false teachers, and encourages us to strive for unity amongst the Body of Christ.
“Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. Their heart is as fat as grease; but I delight in thy law . . . Let thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live: for thy law is my delight . . . I have longed for thy salvation, O LORD; and thy law is my delight.” Psalm 119:16, 24, 35, 47, 70, 77, 174, KJV
