And be led by the Holy Spirit’s light.
But to your own human understanding,
No, you should not ever dare to lean,
For if by error you choose to do this,
It won’t be what those verses mean.
Yet sadly we see in our current time,
That this is what so many people do,
They twist and pervert God’s Word,
Beware friend that you don’t do it too.
There are now a lot of false doctrines,
Being taught by many misguided men,
Folks who should not even be teaching,
They need to learn Bible basics again.
Yes, they’re so puffed up in their pride,
When they really know nothing at all,
They’re deceiving and being deceived,
And causing God’s young sheep to fall.
There is so much doctrinal confusion,
Brethren all caught up in some debate,
They need to stop and come to realize,
Sowing discord God does truly hate.
