SQUEAKY CLEAN

If you are going to preach,
Make sure you do it well,
Splash on some cologne,
You don’t want to smell.

Please brush your hair,
Don’t look like some bum,
Look very presentable,
For when sheepies come.

Yes, brush all your teeth,
Make your pearlies white,
That way you can smile,
Showing them God’s light.

Now concerning your nails,
Short ones would be fine,
No, nothing long or phony,
Don’t dare cross that line.

No need to wear a suit,
Even camel’s hair will do,
And don’t forget to gargle,
With a good swish or two.

Whether jeans or slacks,
I’ll just leave it up to you,
Now regarding their color,
Well, black, brown or blue.

Don’t wear any shades,
Let them see your eyes,
So Jesus can shine thru,
Is what I strongly advise.

Shoes should be clean,
Whether tennies or dress,
I much prefer the former,
If you want me to confess.

Lastly, choose your Bible,
The most important thing,
Sheep will hear His voice,
And Angels will then sing.
