ROCK STAR PREACHER

by Bill Kochman

12-13-2016

I want to have that abundant life,
Oh yeah, with a well-dressed wife.
And throw in the latest model car,
Make me a great preachin’ rock star.

That’s what all those hucksters say,
They preach that rot, take your pay.
Don’t be fooled or accept their word,
What they say is just really absurd.

That’s what the Devil wants for you,
You’ll forget God, when he’s through.
In the flesh, you will totally be,
Blinded by Satan, oh can’t you see?
