SOCIAL NETJERKS

by Bill Kochman

You have heard of social networks,
No doubt you are even on a few,
There’s something bad about them,
Which will leave you in a stew.

Their thought police patrol you,
Oh how they so love to moderate,
They all play by their own rules,
With power to control your fate.

We hear talk about social justice,
But I wonder if it really works,
For when I try to speak my mind,
There come those social netjerks.

They all hide behind their power,
In the shadows they silently wait,
But if you go against their agenda,
They accuse you of a crime of hate.

Well, there’s really just no winning,
Because their judgment is absolute,
And if you should dare to defy them,
They will simply give you the boot.
