STUDY GOD’S WORD!

If you do not want to be deceived,
You must diligently study the Word,
No, don’t ever just naively accept,
The Internet things you have heard.
There are so many false doctrines,
They’ve sprung up like evil seeds,
But know that God will keep safe,
Him who the Bible faithfully reads.
The Scriptures are like medication,
To protect you from what is false,
Your immunity will then be strong,
And have a healthy spiritual pulse.
But woe to him who neglects them,
Discernment that person will lack,
Thus he’ll find himself in darkness,
If Satan with his lies should attack.
Not knowing the Lord’s true Word,
Yes, astray he will surely be led,
Misguided teachers will trap him,
Erroneous thots will fill his head.
So please don’t dare be like him,
Take time to study the holy writ,
Be led by God’s amazing Spirit,
All your life just don’t ever quit.
